GÜNSEL, the national and domestic car of the TRNC, signed a protocol with the Ministry of National Education and Culture for the “My Profession is in My Hands” project, which aims to provide vocational high school students in the TRNC with the opportunity to establish a future in their own country. Within the scope of the project “My Job is in My Hand” initiated by the GÜNSEL Academy operating within the body of GÜNSEL, Internship, job opportunities and scholarship will be provided for senior students who study at the departments of Mechanical Technology, Metal Technology, Motor Vehicles Technology, Information Technologies, Electronics, Installation Technology and Air Conditioning and Auto Electricity in vocational high schools.
According to the protocol signed by the Minister of National Education and Culture Olgun Amcaoğlu and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Near East Enterprises Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel, it is aimed to employ more young people from Tthe RNC in GÜNSEL. “GÜNSEL Academy Specialization Certificate” will be given to the students who participate in the project and complete the program. All students who have received the GÜNSEL Academy Specialization Certificate by participating in the “My Profession is in My Hands” project will be given a 100% scholarship if they start their education at the relevant vocational schools of Near East University after their high school graduation. In addition, these students will be paid regular monthly salaries. Students who will successfully graduate from Near East University Vocational Schools will also be provided with job opportunities at GÜNSEL.
At the protocol ceremony, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Near East Enterprises Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel and Minister of National Education and Culture Olgun Amcaoğlu made statements respectively.
Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel: “With the My Job is in My Hands project, we are implementing an important project that will create a future in our own country by creating scholarships, internships and job opportunities for the youth of our country.”
Reminding that they set out about 10 years ago to develop and produce the domestic and national automobile of our country, GÜNSEL, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Near East Enterprises Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel said, “While the mass production works of our GÜNSEL continue at full strength, we are implementing an important project that will create a future for our young people in their own country by offering scholarships, internships and job opportunities with the project “My Profession is in My Hands”.
Emphasizing that the electric automotive industry will create new jobs not only in our country but also all over the world, Prof. Dr. Günsel said, “With our My Profession is in My Hands project, we aim to open new horizons for our students in vocational and technical high schools by introducing them to the new technologies of the era.” Thanking all ministry officials, especially the Minister of National Education and Culture Olgun Amcaoğlu, for their support in the implementation of the project, Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel said, “We want to build a technical army, so to say, by equipping our youth with equipment that will make a very important contribution to the industry and development of our country.”
Olgun Amcaoğlu: “With My Profession in My Hands project, our young people will be able to establish their lives by staying in their countries and protecting these lands.”
After İrfan Suat Günsel’s speech, TRNC Minister of National Education Olgun Amcaoğlu emphasized the high level of youth unemployment in the country at the beginning of his speech. Minister Amcaoğlu said “My Profession is in My Hands” project will make a great contribution to transforming the country’s youth into well-equipped and professional individuals and help them build a future where they will not have fear of work. Afterwards, they will be able to establish their lives by staying in their countries and protecting these lands, with full scholarship and employment guarantee at GÜNSEL.”
TRNC Minister of National Education Olgun Amcaoğlu ended his speech with the words, “On behalf of our youth, I would like to express my gratitude to GÜNSEL Family, who not only supported their education life, but also opened the doors of a new life to our youth.”
