Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Hasan Büyükdede, made a test drive with TRNC’s Domestic and National Automobile “GÜNSEL B9” and inspected its production facilities.
Republic of Turkey Industry and Technology Deputy Minister Hasan Büyükdede, visiting the Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic for official talks, also came by the GUNSEL Production Plant, located on the campus of Near East University and realized a test drive with the B9, the first model of the TRNC local and national car GÜNSEL.
GÜNSEL Chairman of the Executive Board Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel accompanied to Büyükdede during his test drive. After the test drive, Büyükdede, who made inspections at the production facilities with the accompanying delegation, also received information about GÜNSEL’s mass production preparations.
Making a statement after the inspections he carried out at GÜNSEL Production Facilities, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede expressed his pleasure to see the establishment of a very good infrastructure and production facility in GÜNSEL and said, “I am very delighted with the point where GÜNSEL has come”. Stating that he closely follows the developments in GÜNSEL, Büyükdede said, “I have previously inspected GÜNSEL at the MÜSİAD EXPO fair in Istanbul. When I came to the TRNC, I wanted to see the production facilities and the vehicle on site. I hope that they will start mass production very soon and our Northern Cyprus will also have a local car. May God make you successful.” Trying the performance of GÜNSEL B9, Büyükdede said “I especially liked the acceleration”.

I would like to express my gratitude to him for his courtesy visits.” Reminding that GÜNSEL recently met with the homeland at the MÜSİAD EXPO fair and was welcomed with intense interest, Prof. Dr. Günsel said, “While we are carrying out our preparations for mass production of GÜNSEL, the support and interest of Turkey give us strength.”
